Usui Resolve.....? is the 39th chapter of the Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! Manga.

Summary

In Miyabigaoka, Tora asks Takumi if 'this' is his answer, to which Takumi agrees. Hinata arrives at Maid Latte and is impressed to see Misaki in a suit, today's special event being the "Suits and Glasses Day". Misaki inquires about his job and Hinata tells her that he is here because he recieved his payment today and he would like to drink tea with her. When Misaki asks if it is alright for him to spend his earning like that, Hinata answers that there is nothing more important to him than Misaki. She whispers that she has something that she would like to tell him at school and leaves. In the staff room, everyone is talking about Misaki's birthday, which is going to arrive soon. Aoi comments that her feminine side hasn't grown at all. When they are alone, he asks Misaki about Hinata, stating that it seems like he holds feelings for her. Misaki laughs and comments that Aoi is very sharp. When asked about Takumi, Misaki again seems confused, which annoys Aoi.

At school, Hinata waits for Misaki in a classroom. After she arrives, she tries to tell him about her feelings, though confused about the way of saying it. With a sad smile, Hinata says that he is already aware of it and explains it as follows: Misaki likes Takumi and he likes her back and therefore, she cannot accept his (Hinata's) feelings. However, he states that he will wait for her, because there is still the possibility that her feelings can change. He hugs her, saying that she can push him away if she does not likes it. Misaki tries to calm him down but is surprised as he says that he was just fooling around with her, and takes his leave. Before going back, Misaki heads to the rooftop and finds Takumi. He asks if he is permitted to go near her, to which she agrees. Takumi hugs Misaki and says the same thing, that if is she dislikes the hug, she is allowed to run away. However, she answers that its not like she hates it, making Takumi blush. He tightens his grip, saying that he too has no intentions of letting her run away.
